Verragio is bringing back Lumino—a ring setting first launched in 1996 that uses minimal metal to maximize diamond visibility—previewed this spring at the Centurion trade show before rolling out to select retailers.

According to founder Barry Verragio, the updated Lumino style is “refined and graceful in styling, yet diamond-intense,” engineered to support today’s trend toward 2–4-carat shows of brilliance with larger stones and fancy cuts.

With lab-grown diamonds driving more brides to choose heftier center stones at lower prices, Lumino’s raised setting elevates each gem to optimize light capture—reflecting every facet at every angle. The Natural Diamond Council reports an 18% rise in sales of 2.00–2.24-carat stones in 2024, underscoring the appetite for bold accents.

Beyond engagement rings, the refreshed Lumino line now includes easy-wear eternity bands and coordinating earrings, priced from $3,650 to $17,200—and clients may supply their own lab-grown diamonds to customize their own statement pieces.
